Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Thrive Labs (“Pocket Chief”, “we”) for the use of the Pocket Chief service. By creating an account you agree to them.
What Pocket Chief is
Pocket Chief is an AI-assisted content service: it helps you create LinkedIn posts in your own voice and publishes them to your LinkedIn profile through LinkedIn's official API — only after you explicitly approve each post. You remain the author and publisher of everything that goes out.
Your responsibilities
- You review every post before approving it. Approval is your editorial sign-off — what publishes is what you approved.
- You'll only connect a LinkedIn account you own, and you'll comply with LinkedIn's User Agreement and Professional Community Policies.
- You won't use the service for spam, misinformation, impersonation of others, or unlawful content.
- You have the rights to any photos, videos, and materials you upload.
Content and ownership
- Your inputs (voice notes, notes, imported posts, media) and your outputs (drafts and published posts) belong to you.
- Your voice profile is built for you alone and is not used for other customers.
- You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service — to process your content, generate drafts, and publish what you approve.
Subscriptions and cancellation
- Pocket Chief is billed monthly. Founding-member pricing, where offered, is honored for as long as your subscription remains active.
- Cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current billing period. Cancellation is self-serve or one email — no retention hoops.
- If we ever materially raise your locked founding price, you may cancel with a pro-rated refund of the current period.
Service quality and limits
- AI drafts can be imperfect — that's why nothing publishes without your approval. You are responsible for the accuracy of approved posts.
- We depend on third-party platforms (LinkedIn, hosting, AI providers). If LinkedIn changes or revokes API access, we'll adapt in good faith, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted publishing.
- We may set fair-use limits (posts per week per tier) as described at purchase.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for actions LinkedIn takes on your account in connection with content you approved.
Termination
You can leave anytime (see cancellation). We may suspend or end service for breach of these terms or misuse of the platform, with notice where practical. On termination we'll make your export available and delete your data per the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Disputes go to the courts of British Columbia.
